Appiah AI is preparing a remote internship programme for early-career builders who want practical exposure to AI systems, product thinking, research, operations, and responsible delivery.
Authenticity measures
What we put in place before hiring interns.
Remote internships need more than a form and a promise. Candidates should be able to see how the programme works, who is accountable, what data is collected, and how their work will be reviewed.
Named point of contact
All internship communication is handled through james@appiah.ai; candidates should not be asked to move to personal accounts for formal hiring steps.
Clear role descriptions
Each opening will state responsibilities, expected weekly commitment, supervision model, skills required, learning outcomes, and whether the placement is paid or unpaid.
Structured selection
Applications are reviewed against published criteria. Shortlisted candidates receive a written briefing before any interview or practical task.
No payment requests
Appiah AI will not ask candidates to pay application, onboarding, equipment, visa, training, or software fees as part of an internship process.
Data minimisation
We only request candidate information needed for recruitment and onboarding. Sensitive checks are requested only if required for the role and explained in advance.
Documented onboarding
Interns receive written expectations for confidentiality, acceptable tool use, IP ownership, security, feedback cycles, and escalation paths before project access is granted.
Candidate trust
Signals we will publish for every internship.
- Role title, team area, expected start window, and application deadline.
- Remote working expectations, timezone overlap, and communication rhythm.
- Named interviewer or hiring contact using an Appiah AI email address.
- Selection stages, estimated timelines, and feedback expectations.
- Compensation status, expenses policy, or learning-placement basis where applicable.
- Privacy notice link explaining how candidate data is used and retained.
